The perfect morning involves: A perfect morning starts with movement—yoga, a hike, surfing, or even just a long walk. Waking up and celebrating being in my body sets the tone for the day. Follow it with a high-protein breakfast and a good cup of coffee, and I’m in my happy place.

Three places I’ve never been that I’d love to visit: I’m always dreaming about my next adventure. Paris is high on my list—wandering the streets with a glass of wine, soaking up art and fashion. New Zealand calls to my wild side: renting a van, swimming in oceans and lakes, hiking to waterfalls, soaking in hot springs, and exploring all that breathtaking landscape. And Japan captivates me with its mix of serenity and excitement: hot springs, skiing, temples, and perfect sushi.

A few of my favorite reads: The Maeve Chronicles by Elizabeth Cunningham, The Light We Carry by Michelle Obama, Radical Acceptance by Tara Brach, and Daring to Lead by Brene Brown.

Describe a favorite home ritual: One of my favorite home rituals is simple but sacred: eating dinner as a family and playing an animal-guessing game with my 6-year-old.

Pet’s name, and one word to describe them: Stella (grey tabby cat or our small tiger). "Feisty".

Guilty pleasure: A secret stash of high quality chocolate.

A fave outdoor spot, bar and restaurant in PDX: Outdoor spot: Hoyt Arboretum and the Redwood Trail. Bar: a wine bar in SE Portland. Restaurant: Broder for breakfast.
