About us

Vetiver Street was born from a shared belief that real estate deserves the same creativity, care, and strategy as any great brand or story.

With decades of combined experience across design, marketing, storytelling, and sales, our team came together to reimagine what a real estate agency could be: one rooted in purpose, guided by aesthetics, and powered by people.

Vetiver Street was founded by a team with deep roots in design, marketing, and storytelling. Deb Kemp spent decades leading brand strategy across global industries—from telecommunications and FMCGs to wine and apparel—before building a top-producing real estate career in Portland and launching Vetiver Street in 2024. Molly King, a seasoned creative producer and co-director of QDoc (the world’s only LGBTQ+ documentary film festival), brings a background in music, media, and brand to shape story-driven, design-forward campaigns that center people and place. Jeff Pidgeon, a longtime creative director with experience at Williams-Sonoma, Martha Stewart, Ziba, and more, leads Vetiver Street’s brand and visual identity with the belief that every home has a story—and deserves to be presented with the same emotional clarity and creative care as the world’s most resonant brands. Together, we’re building a real estate agency where presentation is purposeful, stories are told with heart, and design leads the way.

  • 01

    Deep Roots

Staying grounded and laying strong foundations—for clients, partners, and community organizations our work is rooted in community partnerships.

  • 02

    Resilient

Because of our time in the industry and marketing experience, we thrive in shifting environments, bringing adaptability and calm expertise to dynamic markets and helping clients move forward with clarity and confidence.

  • 03

    Reliable

A known stabilizer in both land and scent, vetiver is dependable and enduring. We bring the same qualities to our client and partner relationships, offering steady guidance, honest insight, and a people-first approach—earning consistent feedback that they feel supported and secure.

  • 04

    Unique

Every property has its own character. We bring a unique approach to our creative and design.

  • 05

    Supportive/Symbiotic

Supportive through the whole process, we cultivate long-term, meaningful relationships—for our clients and our communities.

  • 06

    Base Note

In perfumery, vetiver is the base note—the deep, grounding essence that lingers after everything else. It’s the quiet strength that holds a composition together. At Vetiver Street, we aim to be the same: subtle yet foundational, bringing lasting resonance to every home, relationship, and experience we help shape.

  • 07

    Team/Strong Foundation

Our team is the foundation of Vetiver Street. Like the tightly bound roots of the vetiver plant, we bring stability, depth, and strength—each member contributing unique insight and support to build lasting impact for our clients, partners, and communities.

Philanthropies

We are committed to giving back—supporting preservation, housing access, women’s services, and inclusive storytelling that strengthen the communities we serve.
