The perfect morning involves: Home. Slight sleep in. Dog kisses. Coffee in bed hand delivered by my fave. Second coffee on the deck watching the birds on the bird feeder and in the forested backyard. Debate over NYT crossword.

Three places I’ve never been that I’d love to visit: Japan for cuisine, architecture, and adventure. Africa for eco wildlife, history, and waterfalls. Mississippi, USA for Juke Joints, and the history of American blues music.

A few of my favorite reads: Me by Elton John, Rememberings by Sinéad O'Connor, Broken Horses by Brandi Carlile, The Beautiful Ones by Prince.

Describe a favorite home ritual: Taco Tuesday. Cheffing up scratch “street tacos” on the grill while old school hip hop plays on the stereo.

Pet’s name, and one word to describe them: Archie (Bestie).

Guilty pleasure: Buying vintage hats from eBay and making Spotify/Apple playlists.

A fave outdoor spot, bar and restaurant in PDX: Forest Park (particularly the Wild Cherry Trail off NW 53rd Drive), Por Que No’s sidewalk seating on Mississippi on a warm day, and Ringside for a rib-eye.
