The perfect morning involves: Waking up in Russell, New Zealand on a summer morning, sipping two coffees in the sunroom followed by avo on toast, a brisk bushwalk then a long sea swim at Oneroa Beach.

Three places I’ve never been that I’d love to visit: Rwanda to watch gorillas, Kenya to watch elephants at Samburu National Reserve with my friend Jane (@janewynyard) , Medellín, Colombia to visit our pals who moved there recently.

A few of my favorite reads: The Garden Party, and Other Stories by Katherine Mansfield, Angle of Repose by Wallace Stegner, and Everything written by Truman Capote.

Describe a favorite home ritual: Soaking in a gorgeous sunset in the sunken living room with a delicious G & T in hand that Molly ‘s made.

Pet’s name, and one word to describe them: Archibald Reginald (Archie). Lover.

Guilty pleasure: Baking sweet treats just before it’s time for a cuppa.

A fave outdoor spot, bar and restaurant in PDX: Nature Trail in Forest Park, Sousòl bar below Kaan, and Piazza Italia for casual Italian on a Sunday night.
