The perfect morning involves: Waking up early on a Saturday morning and watching a documentary with my first cup of coffee and reading with my second.

Three places I’ve never been that I’d love to visit: Norway to experience the Northern Lights, Machu Picchu for the wonderment of it, and exploring the USVI via catamaran.

A few of my favorite reads: All the Colors of the Dark by Chris Whitaker, Katherine by Anya Seton, and The Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett.

Describe a favorite home ritual: I may not know much about football, but I love football season. My husband and I pull the TV onto the deck and spend game day out there together. It’s simple, but the time spent with each other is meaningful.

Pet’s name, and one word to describe them: Purrcy (aka Cat Baby). "Chosen One".

Guilty pleasure: Pairing a nice scotch with decadent dark chocolate. Pure luxury.

A fave outdoor spot, bar and restaurant in PDX: Visiting the Rose Garden while the flowers are in full bloom brings joy to my heart! I love growing roses, so this is a very special, inspiring place for me. Scotch Lodge for date nights.
