The perfect morning involves: A walk to the end of the street with my dog to watch the sun rise over Mt. Hood, followed by my yoga and meditation practice. Then, my first and last coffee of the day.
Three places I’ve never been that I’d love to visit: A stargazing party in Borrego Springs, CA (a designated dark sky community), a boat excursion through the Pantanal in South America, and ten days on the Pacific Crest Trail.
A few of my favorite reads: The Lord of the Rings trilogy (every 3-4 years) by J.R.R. Tolkien, Journey to the End of the Night by Louis-Ferdinand Celine, and Secrets of the Talking Jaguar by Martin Prechtel.
Describe a favorite home ritual: Carefully planning—and efficiently, gracefully executing—a dinner party with Lynne for family or friends.
Pet’s name, and one word to describe them: Sage, “Trusted Companion”.
Guilty pleasure: A dozen, or two raw oysters, fresh from the ocean.
A fave outdoor spot, bar and restaurant in PDX: Washington Park, Eastern Pearl for karaoke and bingo, and Angel Face with friends for a cocktail before heading next door to Navarre for a sampling of their many tasty dishes and desserts.
